OPTIC DECEPTION - Although video footage seems to look identical to what we perceive with our eyes, there is a huge difference between human perception and the perception of a camera. We as humans beings, just need 13 milliseconds to perceive an image. Camera's, on the other hand, record with a framerate of 25 frames per second.

Optic Deception is a project that shows the differences in perception between our eyes and the eye of a camera. The circles are driven by motors spinning at a speed of 75 rotations per second. Due to the speed, our naked eyes won't perceive any of the colours, the colours appear once the circles are viewed through a camera.
